A boat with 19 refugees and migrants arrived in Lesvos on Sunday

This is the second boat with refugees and migrants, which arrives in Lesvos, in the same wider area in recent days – Control by EODY and quarantine for passengers

A boat carrying 19 refugees and migrants, all men from Iran and Afghanistan, arrived this Sunday morning in the Lapsarna area of Antissa in northwestern Lesvos.

This is the second boat with refugees and migrants, which arrives in Lesvos, in the same wider area, away from the usual landing points in eastern, northeastern and eastern Lesvos.

Another boat with 51 passengers arrived on the island last Wednesday in the area of Skalochori.

According to the measures to deal with the pandemic of coronavirus, the 19 are expected to be medically tested by EODY and then will be moved to Megala Therma in order to be placed in a 14-day quarantine.

It should be noted that, both in Chios and in Samos, there have been migratory and refugee flows since the middle of last March, ie almost two months ago.
